Meet the Founder of the Siver & Associates, PLLC
The firm was initially founded by Jim Siver in January 1982 and began operations in Lansing, Michigan on March 1,1982. Several Attorneys were added to the firm and it became known as Siver, Niven & Montgomery. As the firm grew, it was moved to larger office space at the Lansing Capital City Airport in the spring of 1983. Over the years, as the firm continued to grow, some of the original attorneys continued to practice with the firm while others retired.In the fall of 1993, the offices moved to Saint Johns, Michigan and for a short time merged with an Alma, Michigan law firm. The resulting firm became known as Roslund, Siver & Associates. In June of 1994 the firm ended its relationship with the Alma law firm, and in February 1996 the offices moved back to Lansing while at the same time opening a Grand Rapids location. The firm presently does business under the name of Siver & Associates, PLLC. While the location of the firm has been in Grand Rapids, Michigan for the past 26 plus years; the office has continued to grow and serve clients in the areas of Consumer Collections Law, Criminal Defense, Property Management - Landlord/Tenant Law.The main objective of the firm is to protect our clients and lead them through the legal process.

Tom Siver, was born in Washington, D.C. on February 1, 1977, and was admitted to the practice of Law in the State of Michigan in 2006. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Tri-State University (now known as Trine University) in 1999, majoring in Business Management and a Juris Doctorate Degree in 2005 from The Thomas M. Cooley School of Law, Lansing, Michigan. He has coached college football, as a linebacker coach, for six seasons before accepting a position with a Detroit based property management company as the lead special projects manager in the office of the CEO. In November of 2006, He joined the law firm of Siver & Associates. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, and both the Eastern and Western Federal District Courts of Michigan. Tom is a member of the Grand Haven Masonic Lodge, and the Michigan High School Athletic Association. He Officiates High School, and collegiate Football contests throughout the state of Michigan and the Midwest. Tom primarily practices in the areas of: Creditors Rights in Bankruptcy Criminal Law Collections Contract Law Family Law Litigation Real Estate - Landlord/Tenant Wills, Estates, Trusts, and Taxation Law
